INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A six-year-old Indianapolis real estate group is quickly becoming one of the largest firms in town and recently hired a new Vice President of Sales and Leasing who adds nearly-two decades of experience to the team.
Former Alliance Commercial Group Vice President of Office and Industrial Sales and Leasing Bryan Augustin recently announced he has joined ALO Property Group as the new Vice President of Sales and Leasing specializing in tenant representation.
Heather Craig who was the at Marketing Director at Alliance Commercial with Bryan also joined ALO Property Group as the Director of Operations and will spearhead the company’s innovation efforts for the administrative and marketing departments.
Bryan Augustin began his career in 2002 as a director at NAI Olympia Partners and in 2011 started Alliance Commercial Group with his father, Drew Augustin. After eight successful years of servicing clients in the office and industrial markets in Indiana and across the United States, Bryan began to search for another group given his father’s slowing down in the business.
“I wanted to be at a place that would enhance the resources available to me, expand my network and share Alliance’s core values of integrity, commitment, trust and collaboration,” Augustin said. “At ALO, I feel my new teammates uphold the same client-centric mindset and dedication to integrity I’ve built my career on.”

The group has signage at Meridian and 91st Street, is pushing 20 people and markets itself as a full-service commercial real estate firm specializing in brokerage, property management and development.
“Most of ALO’s growth has been organic. I like to bring people on who are new to the commercial real estate field so they don’t come with any bad habits,” ALO President and Founder Ralph Balber said. “When you add a respected, highly skilled broker like Bryan Augustin, it’s truly a testament to the type of team we’ve assembled and continue to build.”
Balber started ALO in 2014 with the desire to create the local commercial firm the people of central Indiana needed and deserved. He constantly reinforces the value of integrity and communication to his brokers.
“The customer service level in our industry is not close to where it needs to be,” Balber said. “We’ve found a niche at ALO by caring about our clients and educating them on the process of leasing space and advising them on whatever solution is best for them.”
Other recent additions at ALO include former Axis Architecture Associate Partner Ashley Lee, Jack Sigman who joined the firm after graduating from Butler University, former CBRE Transaction Management Coordinator Alexa Larson, former Halakar Vice President Ashley Bussel Patterson and former Fox 59 and CBS 4 Indy Reporter Brian Bondus.
